Arup Pandey 准教授

My fascination with the art and science of teaching started in my childhood. I would often be found playing ‘teacher-student’ with my neighborhood friends. While in high school, I was fascinated by the impressive teaching styles and qualities of various teachers which later fashioned my own view of language learning and teaching.

I hold a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in English. Since 2006 I have been teaching and researching in Japan. My teaching and classroom activities are guided by three common sense principles:

  1. clear objectives for every classroom task/activity,
  2. measurable outcome of most tasks/activities,
  3. tasks/activities be contemporary and enjoyable for the learners.

If you wish to learn more about English and/or culture (I am from India!), I am available in Room 304 of Y-Building (Kofu Campus) and/or English Café on Thursdays.
